    BIOGRAPHY

When you engage Hector Andujar, Jr. to join you in your real estate adventure, be prepared for a perspective that goes far beyond buying or selling property. While you will greatly appreciate his creativity and desire to absorb information and technology, it is his art, design, and architecture roots that will broaden your view of what buildings and homes can deliver — not just for the eye, but to the soul.

You see design is not exclusively Hector’s domain...it runs in the family. Infused with a passion for illustration from his mother and a sense of fashion from his sister, who is still a fashion designer to this day, Hector has always been drawing and took his passion to the High School of Art & Design in Manhattan. There, he turned his talents toward architecture, even working on a senior project to redesign of the Lower East Side to make it far more resilient to storms after getting battered by Hurricane Sandy two years earlier. But now comes the twist.

Hector, a man of many talents, was a force to be reckoned with on the basketball court. By his high school graduation, Hector was a first string shooting guard with his eye on another prize: Division 1 competition. At St. Peters University, a Division 1 school, he spent two years learning the business of sports management while he pursued a spot on the basketball team, but his creative side drove him back to art studies and yielded him a B. A. in Fine Art by the end of his college career. His clients will discover that his combination of business and design bring a unique perspective to the field of luxury real estate.

When Hector is not guiding friends, family, and clients to their NextHome, you will likely find him on the basketball court, drawing physically or digitally, and possibly in his home studio producing music. He also likes to get out into the city he knows so well, capturing images of intriguing Gotham architectural elements and other aesthetic pleasures with his DSLR camera.
