    BIOGRAPHY

    When you think of travel, you would likely underestimate how much of the world Dennis Rachuna has experienced. After more than six million miles on airplanes, there are very few places to which he has not traveled globally. Blessed with exceptional organizational skills, incredible time management ability, and extraordinary situational awareness, you will not find a more thorough agent that pays as close attention to even the most obscure details.

    From working a paper route for the Buffalo News, his hometown paper, to his days painting houses over the summer, Dennis has always found himself around real estate. During college at SUNY Buffalo, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves before completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Upon graduation, Dennis joined the management trainee program with Sherwin Williams, learning about paint technology and process management. After a local recruiting effort, his sense of service led him to accept a civilian government law enforcement position in California. When 9/11 changed everyone’s lives, he transferred to the Metropolitan New York area, initially landing in Astoria, Queens, and eventually heading east to Long Island, where he has continued to serve for more than 20 years.

    Today, Dennis is servicing the Long Island community from the Town of Brookhaven, his home for almost two decades. He’s everything you would expect from a Long Islander: an avid Islanders and Yankees fan, recreational golfer, and occasional fisherman. A homeowner himself, Dennis has the life experience that his clients can come to depend upon as they search for their NextHome on Long Island or anywhere throughout downstate New York.
